Information You Submit
Search Terms
When a visitor enters information in a sponsored search tool, the entry goes to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and returns results under its own policies. This site does not store or log the terms entered into that partner search.
Messages
If a visitor sends an email, the message may be kept so a reply can be sent. It is handled by the site’s team and is not shared outside that group unless a legal requirement calls for disclosure.
Technical Information and Cookies
Like many websites, a server may receive basic details when a page loads, such as an IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and the time of a visit. These details help show how the pages are used and whether they are working.
Cookies and Analytics
Small cookie files may be stored on a device. Analytics services can use them to group traffic information, such as which pages are visited most. Browser settings can block cookies, though some functions may respond differently afterward.
How Information Is Used
- To keep the pages available and improve load speed
- To send a visitor’s sponsored-search request to its provider
- To see which reference topics are useful and which need revision
- To find and correct technical faults
- To display advertising that may reflect general browsing interests
No Warrant Records Are Stored
Karnes County Warrant Records does not host, build, sell, or maintain a database of named warrants or case histories. It offers general information on where local files may be held, such as the District Clerk, County Clerk, JP or municipal courts, and the Sheriff’s Office for service or custody questions. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report or a file about another person.
Outside Search Providers
Search boxes on some pages are run by outside companies. Information entered into a partner tool is governed by that provider’s privacy notice, retention rules, and sharing practices. Review the provider’s terms before entering personal information. This site does not control how the partner handles the request.
Links to External Pages
Some links lead to county, court, sheriff, state, or third-party pages. Once a visitor leaves this website, the destination’s privacy policy governs its collection and use of information. Read that policy before submitting personal details.
Advertising companies may also track activity across websites on their own systems to decide which ads to show. That activity is outside this site’s control.
Who May Receive Information
This site does not sell visitor data. Information may be handled by:
- Search partners processing a query submitted to their tool
- Analytics providers that measure visits and page performance
- Advertising networks that place or measure ads
- A government body or law-enforcement office responding to a valid legal order
Keeping Information Secure
Reasonable security steps are used to protect information received by this site. Online systems still carry risk, so absolute security cannot be promised. A data breach or service interruption cannot be ruled out.
Children and Teen Users
The content is intended for adults, and the site does not knowingly seek personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor’s information is sent to the site, a parent or guardian may use the published contact address to ask that it be removed.
Juvenile court records in Texas also have separate legal privacy limits. A public adult-record rule should not be treated as permission to share a youth’s case details.
Requests About Data
A visitor may ask what personal information is held by the private site, request a correction, or ask for deletion. Texas Government Code Chapter 552, the Texas Public Information Act, concerns access to existing records held by governmental bodies. It does not convert information held by this private reference into a county record or create a general search service.
For a public record held by Karnes County, make a narrow request to the office that has the file. County records requests do not require an agency to create a new list, research an answer, or disclose exempt information.
Texas Government Code Chapter 552 is the state public-information law.
Changes to This Policy
The privacy terms may be revised as services change. A new version will be posted here with an updated effective date. Review this page from time to time to see whether the described practices have changed.
